The Three O'Four Family

A quick Bio of the two Gentlemen and Lady that try to bring you the hardhitting news on a somewhat regular basis.

Seamus O'Hara

Hailing from the great County of Delaware (located in PA), Seamus Daniel O'Hara is a recent PSU graduate ready to discuss anything from Gravity Waves to Bruce Springsteen, With two (count'em - 2) degrees in Physics and Mathematics, Seamu is the token geek of the Three O'Four cohort, completing the Schreyer Honors Gateway Program and working in a Physics lab for the past three years. He was a 2016 â€‹PPG REU Fellow and just finished his thesis exploring band structures of Tungsten Diselenide and its charge conductivity. I don't really know either so don't sweat it.

Beyond the classroom, the lab, and the sound booth (our Audio Technician), Seamus has volunteered with Springfield Benefiting THON, serving as the 2015 Canning Solicitation Chair and dancing for the organization in THON 2015. He has also worked for Eco Reps, a student group paired with Penn State Housing with the goal of promoting sustainable living in Freshman residence halls. He also enjoys long walks by a lake, introspectively sitting in a beach chair, and a nice cold Guiness after a hard day's work. What a cool guy, right? I know!

Starting in the Fall, Seamus will begin work as a Physics PhD student at UC Santa Barbara. He is proud to become a Gaucho, and hopes his research career will spur scientific advances bettering human kind. He currently works in Condensed Matter Physics and plans on continuing his work at UCSB. We wish him the very best on the West Coast, the thing he'll miss the most while working in Santa Barbra will probably be the State College weather.

I give you Seamus Daniel O'Hara, man of a thousand t-shirt and khaki combos and co-host of your favorite podcast.

Dan Lordan

Winner of the superlative "Most likely to stop the microwave early and not hit "Stop", leaving the cook time permanently on the display and sending Seamus into a silent rage", Dan Lordan is a recent Penn State graduate with degrees in Political Science and Biology. A Paterno Fellow and Schreyer Honors Scholar, Daniel also served as Executive and Fundraising Chair of Empower Orphans, a member of Schreyer Student Counsil, and a dedicated member to Springfield FTK, benefitting THON.

Danny Boy is currently completing his second internship with the Penn State Development and Alumni Relations Office. He worked with the Major Gifts Department last summer, and this year is working with the VP of Development to coordinate the new class of Development interns.

Beyond the resume, Dan is constantly striving to meet new people, reaching out to various members of the PSU community in an effort to understand the many people who contribute to campus life. The defacto booking agent of Three O'Four, many of Dan's conversations have lead to podcast topics lead by interesting guests.

With his Alumnus status permanently cemented, Dan hopes to find a job which allows him to work for others and service the community. For the time being, co-hosting a podcast with his friend sounds like an appealing part-time occupation.

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you Daniel James Lordan, co-host of the up and coming podcast, Three O'Four.

Tori Bertocci

The third O'Four in the family, Tori has joined the Three O'Four team to provide her wonky political expertise to the Podcast repartee. Frankly, she was tired of hearing Seamus and Dan mansplain issues to listeners.

Calling in from the heartland of America, Miss Bertocci currently lives in Bloomington IN but grew up in the suburbs of Dallas TX and received a degree from Penn State in Microbiology, graduating in the summer of 2016. Like Dan, she has a Life Science background but combines that with a fascination of policy and politics to fill out the Podcast discussions.

Tori graduated a year ahead of Dan and Seamus, and therefore is too much a real-world adult to have her college resume in her bio. Boasting the highest max-out squat of the Three O'Four team, it's no wonder her two co-hosts always defer to her on tough policy points, because those two obviously correlate.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we a proud to call this gem from the American Heartland a part of our Pod family: Tori Bertocci, everyone.
